Dashboard

The Dashboard gives the administrator access to a quick overview of state of queued, running and completed jobs as well as alert, request and waiting messages. Through the use of widgets this overview is highly configurable to the needs of the administrator. An example of such an overview is shown below.

Widgets

At first use of the Control Center the Dashboard is completely empty. Widgets can be added by clicking the plus '+' sign in the upper right corner. Any change to the Dashboard will be saved automatically. Therefore when the administrator logs on to the Control Center the next time the Dashboard will look exactly like the last time used.

Adding Widgets

Widgets can be added to the Dashboard by clicking the plus '+' sign in the upper right corner of the Dashboard. The dialog shown below will open.

• Content Type: A choice can be made between Completed jobs, Running jobs and Queued jobs of the Jobs -> Job management option or Alerts, Requests and Waitings of the Messages menu item.
• Applications: When one or more individual applications are selected the messages will be filtered on that applications
• Nr of items to show: The number of items to show in the list of the widget.
• Refresh rate in seconds: The contents of the widgets will be refreshed automatically. The refresh rate can be set here.

Changing Widgets

• Resizing: Widgets can be resized by dragging the lower right corner of the widget to the desired size.
• Moving: Widgets can be moved to a different place on the Dashboard by dragging the widget header to the desired position on the Dashboard
• Content Type: The content type of an existing widget can be changed by clicking the Edit button of the widget. The 'Select content type' dialog will open and a different content type, applications filter etc. can be chosen.
• Column selection: The columns of the selected content type to show in the widget can be changed by clicking the Settings button of the widget.

Deleting Widgets

Widgets can be deleted from the Dashboard by clicking the 'X' button of the widget. A confirmation of the removal is required.
