DMS Areas

To insert a new DMS Area right click in the right pane of the Enterprise Repository view and select "Insert Area". The dialog below will open.

In the dialog choose a name for the area in all capitals and without spaces and underscores. The Description is free to choose.

After clicking OK the area will open in edit mode as shown below.

Short description of the fields:

• Name: The name of the area
• Description: A free to choose description of this area
• Schema: Should be set to the schema this area will belong to.
• Code: A unique numeric code for this area. The code must be between zero and the Number of Areas defined in the schema this area belongs to.
• Allocated Pages: The number of allocated pages for this area.
• Tables: The list of the tables (records) defined in this area.
