Open Commands

In the box "Open" on the upperright corner of the AMT Developer Studio, you can use one of the following commands to jump directly to the applicable window:

Command Description

DOC

 

Display the comments of the selected object, which can also be a folder. If the same name is used for a folder and another object, this option always displays the comments of the other object when that name is specified.

Use: DOC [[<Application>.]<Object>[ <Revision number>]]

GEN

Displays a window for generation of objects.

Use: GEN [<Application>]

GENREL

Displays a window to facilitate the updating of AMT runtime applications after AMT is updated through a new fix, patch or major release. This window is only available for administrators.

Use: GENREL

GENSET/GS

Displays a window where the different generation sets of an application can be altered.

Use: GS [<Application>]

LAB

Displays a window for the management of labels.

Use: LAB [<Application>] 

LAY

Displays the layout of the selected object.

Use: LAY [[<Application>.]<Object>][ <Revision number>]

LG

Displays the code of the selected object. When a line number is supplied the cursor will be set at that position.

Use: LG [[<Application>.]<Object>][ <LineNumber>][ <Revision number>]

LOCK

Displays a window that lists objects that are currently locked for the selected application. By switching the option, you can choose to view only the objects that you have locked yourself or to view all locked objects. This screen also provides options to check in or unlock selected objects or to view the revision history.

Use: LOCK [<Application>]

LOG

Displays a window that lists information about maintenance that is done in the application sources, such as the locking, unlocking, checking in and deletion of objects, revision selections and label changes.

Use: LOG [<Application>]

LS

Display the current validate/generate status of the selected application.

Use: LS [<Application>]

OP

Displays the options of the current or another revision of the selected object.

This command may also be used to call the options of a folder object. If the same name is used for a folder and another object, this option always opens the other object when that name is specified.

If a revision is selected with this option, this revision cannot be edited or placed in edit in the opened window.

Use: OP [[<Application>.]<Object> [<Revision number> ]]

REL 

Display the relations of the selected object.

Use: REL [[<Application>.]<Object>[ <Revision number>]] 

REP

Displays the repository view.

Use: REP

REV

Displays a screen for the revision management of your objects.

Use: REV [<Application>]

SEC

Displays a window where the security can be changed.

Use: SEC

TBL

Displays the table options. If the same object name is also used for a form, you can use this option to make sure that the table is opened (instead of the form).

Use: TBL [[<Application>.]<Object>][ <Revision number>]
