Waitings

The Waitings option shows a list of all the waitings on the AMT-COBOL environment. A waiting occurs when a job needs a file for input and the file does not exist. The system will then wait for the file to be created (test periodically if the file exists). When the file exists the job will resume execution automatically. Filters on the application, kind of waiting message, date/time or source can be applied on the list.

 

The kind of the waiting message is either waiting or confirmed waiting which occurs when the waiting is resolved.

When a waiting message in the list is selected and the View button is clicked a detailed view of the waiting message is shown.
