External Utilities

Of course you are not limited to the AMT batch/script utilities. In fact, you are free to use any batch utility in your AMT environment.
Below, there are described 2 examples of utilities that are delivered standard with Windows:

Net start
This Windows utility starts the specified service.

Usage: Net start <Service>

Net stop
This Windows utility stops the specified service and blocks the online transactions that are executed by this service. Since AMT services are cluster aware, the startup of the alternate virtual service will be skipped while the service is going offline.
