Starting AMT Screens

AMT Screens can be started once the connection setting has been configured in the App.ini file (see the Configuring App.ini page).

To start AMT SCreens, navigate to the following directory: ..\<AMT Environment>\App\<Application>\Binaries\ClientGUI and start AmtScreens.exe.

AMT Screens starts with the configured connection settings to connect to the application server and start the application. The AMT Screens splash screen will appear and display the connection progress.

When the connection to the application server has been established, AMT Screens will show the initial screen of the application.

See the AMT Screens page for information about using AMT Screens.

Starting AMT Screens from a workstation

End users should never log in on the server on which AMT is installed to directly run AMT Screens. Instead, the AMT application found in Binaries\ClientGUI should be accessible to end users as a network share. End users can then create a link or shortcut to the AmtScreens.exe file on the network share. Starting AMT Screens is then as simple as starting the AMT Screens executable file through the link or shortcut on the end user's workstation.

End users only require the Read & execute security permission on the network share.
