Developing from a workstation

AMT-COBOL developers will never log on to the server on which AMT-COBOL is installed directly to run the AMT-COBOL Developer. Instead the Lion directory of the AMT-COBOL installation should be made accessible as a network share to the developers. The developers can then make a link to the LionDev.exe executable on the network share.

Note: The needed security rights for developers on the network share are Read & Execute with the exception of the file Lion.ini to which also Write access is needed.

Starting the AMT Developer Studio is then simply starting the executable LionDev.exe via the link on their workstation.
