Users
This section allows the administrator to view, add, edit users in the AMT environment.
Users
The Users tab displays a list of users with access in the environment.
In the list of users, information is displayed about the status of the user, such as if the user is approved or is locked out, when the user was last active, and their Terminal ID.
The following User settings are available:
User name
The username of the user.
Full name
The name of the user.
Language
Select the language for the user.
Station
The station name of the user.
Use old transmit style
If enabled, the user can transmit by pressing the numpad
+ (plus) key. The Enter key will then set the focus to the first EditBox of the
next line.
Terminal IDs
Terminal IDs are assigned to users based on their IP address, but a Terminal ID can also be permanently allocated to
a specific user in this field. While it is possible to use multiple unique Terminal IDs, it is not possible for a
single ID to be used more than once at the same time. If the user logs out, the Terminal ID is released if it is not
permanently assigned. If there is no free Terminal ID, the connection is denied.
If changes were made, click the
button to save the changes.
Users Assigned to Roles
Users can be assigned specific roles that define their access and permissions within the AMT environment. These roles manage and control what actions a user can perform.
To assign a user to a role, select one or several roles from the list of available roles and click the Add button to assign the role to the user.
Permissions
The Permissions tab displays a list of users and their permissions to access various AMT components.
