Menu items and options

Below is a list of all the menu items and options of the Control Center menu. The list is organized following the menu of the Control Center. Note: When using the Control Center not all the listed menu main options and sub options may be visible to the user due the restrictions of the User role of the user. In the menu option Security Configuration -> Component Activation the menu items and options that will be available to a User Role can be set.

Home

The menu item Applications gives access to the Dashboard where desired data about the AMT environment can be viewed with the help of widgets.

option Description
Dashboard Gives the administrator a configurable selection of lists of the Control Center.

Applications

The menu item Applications gives access to view and control the running state of the AMT environment.

option Description
Server Control Gives access to the state of all the installed services. Both for starting/stopping of the services and also to view the state of these service as well as control various options of these services.
Process Control Produces a view of the CPU load and number of users of the selected application services.

System Configuration

The menu item System Configuration gives access to all the system configuration option control interfaces.

Option Description
System setup Gives access to the basic system configuration control interfaces. Tabs:
  • Base setup
  • Basepaths
  • Logging configurations
  • Runtime behaviour configurations
Architecture Gives access to the application related configuration control interfaces. Tabs:
  • Applications
  • Configurations
  • Databases
Services Gives access to the interfaces that control the definition and installation of the system and application specific services of the environment. Tabs:
  • File services
  • Batch services
  • Print services
  • Reorganize services
  • Lion servers
  • Lion managers
  • Own services
Batch & Forms Gives access to the interfaces that control the available Job queues, Available jobs and forms and the Web consumables. Tabs:
  • Job Queues
  • Available Jobs
  • Available Forms
  • Web Consumables
  • REST API Consumables
  • REST API Providers
Printers Gives access to the interfaces for defining printers, print queues and printer macros. Tabs:
  • PrintQueues
  • Printers

Logging Gives access to the interfaces that controls the logging settings of the environment. Tabs:
  • Logging media severity
  • Logging severity program
  • Email configuration
  • Audit configuration

Security Configuration

The menu item Security Configuration gives access to the various security settings and configurations of the environment.

Option Description
Roles Gives access to the interfaces for defining and controlling the User roles and the relations of the applications to the defined User roles. Tabs:
  • Roles
  • Role applications
  • Application roles
Users Gives access to the interfaces for defining the User accounts and the relations of the User accounts to the defined User roles. Tabs:
  • Users
  • Role Users
Forms Gives access to the interfaces for controlling the relations of the available forms to the User roles. Tabs:
  • Forms
  • Form Roles
Jobs Gives access to the interfaces for controlling the relations of the available jobs to the User roles. Tabs:
  • Jobs
  • Job Roles
Printers Gives access to the interfaces for controlling the relations of the available printers to the User roles. Tabs:

Component activation Gives access to the interfaces for controlling the relations of the different components of the Control Center, Application Center and LionScreens, and the User roles. Tabs:

  • Activated component roles
Encryption Gives access to the interfaces for controlling the Encryption settings of the environment. Tabs:
  • Key manager
  • Encryption
IP addresses Gives access to the interface for controlling the IP address filters of the environment. No Tabs.
Login accounts Give access to the interface for defining and managing the Login accounts of the environment. No Tabs.
REST API Providers Gives access to the interfaces for controlling the relations of the available REST API Providers to the User roles. Tabs:
  • REST API Routes
  • REST API Route Roles

Jobs

The menu item Jobs gives access to the various interfaces controlling jobs, running batches and job schedules.

Option Description
Start job Gives access to the interface for starting individual jobs. No Tabs.
Schedule jobs Gives access to the interface for creating and managing complex job schedules. No Tabs.
Job management Gives access to the interface for controlling queued, running and completed jobs. Tabs:
  • Completed jobs
  • Running jobs
  • Queued jobs
Batch Control Gives access to the interface to view the state and progress of running and completed batches. No Tabs.

Prints

The menu item Prints allows the administrator to control print requests and manage completed prints. This menu item has only one single option Prints.

Option Description
Prints Gives access to the interface for controlling print requests and completed prints. Tabs:
  • Completed prints
  • Queued prints

Messages

The menu item messages gives access to the interfaces for viewing system messages and controlling system requests.

Option Description
Alerts Gives access to the interface for viewing normal alert messages. No Tabs.
Requests Gives access to the interface for viewing and answering system requests, e.g. user input. No Tabs.
Waitings Gives access to the interface for viewing the waitings in the environment. Waitings can only be resolved by supplying the file the system is waiting for. No Tabs.
Runtime errors Gives access to the interface for viewing runtime error messages in the environment. No Tabs.

Processed

The menu item Processed gives access to various statistical and logged information. Also some control over the File Controller is possible via the File Monitor option.

Option Description
Statistics Gives access to the interface for viewing statistical information of the environment. The views will only contain valid information when the option 'Enable statistics' has been set in the Logging configuration. Tabs:
  • Graphical overview
  • Data overview
  • Statistical data
Auditing Gives access to the interface for viewing the audit messages of the changes in the security configuration settings. No Tabs.
Logging Gives access to the interface for viewing the logging files of the environment. No Tabs.
View transactions Gives access to the interface for viewing the transactions made in the environment. This view will only contain valid information when a Transaction Database has been defined and Transaction logging has been enabled in the Logging configuration. No Tabs.
File Monitor Gives access to the interface for viewing and to some extent controlling all the file handled by the File Controller. No Tabs.
Clean Sessions Gives access to the interface for viewing and controlling User Sessions. No Tabs.
