Options

If you open a form (by double clicking it, or right clicking and choosing options, or selecting it and giving an enter ), the following screen appears:

Name

The name of the form.

Online System

The Online System setting determines the form behaviour. The default form behaviour can be changed by selecting a different system from the drop-down menu.
The default system is based on the Application Origin setting in the Application options.
For applications with an Ibm Application Origin the default online system is CicsBms.


Changing the Online System setting can result in unpredictable behaviour. It is advised to only change this setting after consulting AMT customer support.

Automatic tabbing

If enabled, the cursor is set automatically to the next field when a field is totally filled.

Tab order based on left-top

If enabled, when an end user hits the TAB to shift to a next layout control, the tab order will be based on the screen position (left-top to bottom-right).

If disabled, the order will be based on the tabnumber setting for the concerned layout controls.

Encrypt form data

If enabled, the data in the form will be encrypted.

Bms attributes map

(Online system CicsBms only)

To use BMS extended attributes in a form, they can be enabled by checking the corresponding attribute. After enabling an extended attribute, the symbolic map should be updated to include the chosen attributes.

At this moment only the color attribute is fully supported on runtime. The other options can be used in the symbolic map but have no impact at runtime.

IBM Fields reset (FRSET): When checked, all the modifiers are cleared upon sending the map. Only changed fields will be sent back to the logic, all other fields are set to hex 00.
