Print Outputs
A Print Output can be asigned to an Output ID that is defined within a Form, Report, or Global Routine. The Output ID can then be linked to a physical printer or file in the Control Center's Printers menu item.
- The output will be spooled after a PRINT or FREEOUTPUT command is executed.
- If there is no Output ID set within the object, the output will be spooled through the default Output ID.
- The default print Output ID in AMT is PROUT.
Follow the instructions below to add a printer output:
- Open the Object for which a new printer output needs to be added.
- Select the Print Outputs node from the left pane, then select Add new printer
output.
- Specify a logical printer name for the printer that will be assigned to the Object and select
the OK button.
