Jobs

This section allows the administrator to add and configure jobs in the Control Center.

Job Queues

The Job Queues tab displays a list of all job queues in the AMT environment. From here, job queues can be added, configured, or deleted. It is required to have a (default) job queue in order for jobs to start.

While creating or configuring a Job Queue, the following settings are available:

Name
The name of this Job Queue. The name is free to choose.

Application
The AMT application for which to create this Job Queue.

Default job queue
If enabled, this Job Queue is designated to be the default. This queue will be used when a job is started and its queue is set to Default.

Start time
The time of day at which to start the Job Queue.

End time
The time of day at which the Job Queue should end.

Number of concurrent jobs
The number of jobs that can concurrently run in this Job Queue. There is no maximum if this is set to 0.

Allow jobs to run simultaneously
If enabled, more than one instance of the same job is allowed to run.

Available Jobs

The Available Jobs tab displays a list of all jobs in the AMT environment. From here, jobs can be viewed or have their name, application, and job queue configured. Available jobs can be started from the JobsStart Job section in the Control Center.

The following filters are available to search for jobs:

While editing a job, the following is displayed:

Name
States the name of the job.

Application
The application to which this job belongs.

Queue
Select the queue for this job (cannot be left empty). If set to Default, the Job Queue designated as the default Job Queue is used.
