Services

The Services menu option gives access to the installed services on the AMT. There are seven types of services. File services, Batch services, Print services, Reorganize services, Lion servers, Lion managers and Own services. Each has its own tab in the Services option as shown below. Click on one of the above mentioned tabs for more info.

It is important to realize that there are two main types of services.

System services

These have only to be defined and installed once and then can be used by all the applications in the environment. The system services are:

• File Services
• Batch Services
• Print Services
• Reorganize Services
• Own services

Application specific services

These have to be defined and installed seperately for each application in the environment. The application specific services are:

• LION Servers
• LION Managers
